Rascal PT 3.0 is coming!
Rascal Proposal Tracking 3.0 is anticipated to be released in the beginning of April 2023. Rascal Proposal Tracking 3.0 has been modernized with new functionality to make it easier to identify, sort, and filter projects. Several data entry fields have been removed to reduce burden, while others have been enhanced to improve data collection and reporting. New validations have been created to highlight missing or potentially inaccurate information. It is easier to identify changes that have been made in Rascal Proposal Tracking throughout the registration and finalization process in close collaborations with the SPA Project Officer.
We have scheduled two webinars to provide the research community with an overview of Rascal Proposal Tracking 3.0. The sessions will be recorded. You can register for one of the following dates:
- Wednesday, March 22, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm Eastern Time
- Wednesday, March 29, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm Eastern Time

Data Club, provided by Research Data Services, offers a series of strategic lessons and a supportive meeting space for members of the Columbia community of all levels to learn, share, and implement the philosophies, tools, and methodologies for a data-driven project of their choosing. In bi-monthly meetings, the Data Club provides a short instructive session, free-work time, and a collaborative and exploratory environment for researchers to pursue a personal project with the assistance of Columbia University librarians and their data-minded peers.
